We're looking for an HR Generalist - JR. who has experience working with Unions and has a strong hands-on approach to solving challenges. The Human Resources Generalist (Jr.) will assist and support the HR Manager in factory employee personnel matters such as, attendance, State and Federal laws and regulations, job vacancies, temporary hires (casuals), timekeeping system (Kronos and manual punch cards), payroll, and various other general personnel issues.
- HR, or related four-year degree.
- Three to four years experience in Human Resources, preferably in a union work environment.
- Must be knowledgeable in Human Resources procedures and current laws and regulations relating to State and Federal Leaves (CFRA, FMLA), ADA, Workers Compensation Disability, State Hours and Wages.
- Must have good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and an employee timekeeping system, preferably Kronos.
